1301 Girod St. Garage - Poydras Parking

Absolutely ridiculous and dishonest pricing!!! I am extremely angry and disappointed with this parking lot. We parked here around 7pm the night before. There was a staff member sitting at the entrance who charged us $35 upfront, saying that overnight parking costs $35. We checked the price board, which clearly states $35 for 12–24 hours. That sounded reasonable, so we paid the $35 and parked. BUT HERE IS THE PROBLEM. We parked for less than 20 hours total, and when we tried to leave, they asked us to pay an additional $21. Excuse me??? Your own sign clearly says 24 hours = $35. We already PAID $35. We called the staff over, and instead of explaining properly, they kept dodging the question and completely ignored the fact that we had already paid $35 the night before. They kept repeat

Don't use Parkzen app that charges more, $39.69. Just use the ticket and pay with a card in exit that would have been $35. It is cheaper. 1 star for convenient location.

We ran into a small issue during our visit, but Ms. J went above and beyond to help resolve it. You could tell she genuinely cared, and her team was just as supportive and responsive. Great crew all around! The garage itself is clean, well-lit, easy to navigate, and conveniently located. Will absolutely use this parking spot again. Highly recommend!

Im currently seeking a cheaper parking area and on the website it definitely says I was supposed to be charged way less, i paid for a 24 hour parking space but was directed to leave within seconds after payment so why is that??? i have

Trying to leave the lot, we waited in the same spot on the 6th floor for over 45 minutes all because they did not have an attendant controlling traffic. Parked here for years and never had a problem. I will NEVER park here again. Charged everyone $50 and people were furious. No excuse for it to take over an hour to leave a parking garage.
