first call electric is the only legit and professionally outstanding company that will give you the best results within your budget. their price quote is always better than others and work is amazing . we have hired them several times for recessed lighting and crystal chandeliers installation. it was very long and tedious process to assemble the crystals but robin and her crew are very polite and friendly while being professional . their owner joe is a good man and tried to fit in our demands . dont listen to any negative reviews out here . this company can do all your electrical jobs the best .

I am yet another customer who was ripped off by Josph J. Ford and his 1st Call Electric who took my $7,500 generator install deposit and used every excuse for months & months not to install, his excuses were repeated by Kathy at 1st Call office. He Finally gave me a date for generator delivery & install then did not show. Now his phone numbers are disconnected. Looking at other reviews there looks like a lot of people in the same position. The recent review by J Khan stated Joe Ford (1st Call Electric) was mimicking the name of a previous company from which he was fired. Aside from getting liens, it would seem this is a matter for the police as it looks like there is a clear pattern of fraud and theft by deception.

On November 19, 2021, I entered into a contract (attached) with 1ST Call Electric/ Joe Ford for the installation of a 22kw GENERAC house generator to be installed within 10-12 weeks. Via email on January 5, 2022, I asked for an updated installation date and was told the last week of January/the first week of February. 1st Call Electric didn't respond to a follow-up email on February 21st, 2022 (another two weeks after the promised delivery date). We followed up by phone, during which time Joe explained the problems with production and shipping and said that he was unable to return the $7500 because he had taken $7500 from 85 or 86 people and couldn’t pay them all back. He also stated that his wife is an attorney and that he’s been sued for return of money by others, but they were unsucces

1/24/23 FOLLOWUP - I just saw that Joe was arrested the other day in Montgomery County on 300 felony counts for almost $500,000. I won't get my money back but glad nobody else will have to deal with this scam. I have to question the positive reviews here for 1st Call Electric. I worked out a deal with Joe Ford October 15 2021 for a 22kw Generac generator. Paid him $7600 two days later and haven't seen him since. I have been strung along on the phone for 12 months exactly; being told about supply chain issues and lots of excuses surrounding that. I have an easy time believing the other negative comments listed on this board. Joe is a poor businessman and doesn't seem to have any integrity. Just a really rotten experience all the way around.
