We’ve known Joe for years, and he has always been responsive, reliable, and easy to work with whenever we’ve needed plumbing help. More recently, Joe and his team completed our pantry remodel, removing the pantry and replacing it with a beautiful cabinet and countertop space. We’re thrilled with the result. Joe is honest, friendly, and communicates clearly throughout the process. He’s done a lot of work in our neighborhood and around town, which really speaks to the trust he’s built locally. Earlier this year we had Joe do some plumbing improvements to our house. We were so impressed with his work and attention to detail that we decided to talk to him about some renovation work. After listening to Joe talk about the caliber of contractors he worked with, and getting a very fair estimate, we decided to have his company to do the work. We had a main water line leaking in between our poured foundation wall and a sump pump pipe that was fractured by a communications line that was pumping water directly into the water shut off stand pipe area by the street. Joe at 1st Rate General Construction teamed up with their crew and the crew from Blue Boxer Plumbing dove right into the problems and after running into closely installed gas, electric, sump pump and communications lines along with some foul weather, both 1st Rate and Blue Boxer did an amazing job getting us back up and running not to mention giving our sump pump a well needed break.
