225 Self Park - ParkChirp

Booked via SpotHero for 5 days with in-and-out for about USD 80. You just need to park where it is not reserved. Cleaner than any parking lot in Frankfurt/Germany. It saved me 300USD compared to the valet parking at the Intercontinental Hotel 400 meters down the road.

Booked this garage because they advertise having Tesla Superchargers. Was not informed they were out of order. They appeared to have been out of order for quite some time. Refused to refund my parking for this so I had to pay for parking twice so I could charge elsewhere.

It was impossible to pay and therefore exit. Both machines could not read the tickets and all cars were stuck trying to exit. We had to call assistance which was a pain because the sound on the machine is super low and I ended up getting charged $21 for 1H of parking 🤷‍♂️ I did not try to argue as I just wanted to get out of there.

A complete and utter scam. An absolute disgrace. DO NOT USE THIS PARKING LOT! First time, the machine didn't work so we had to wait for the person to answer the phone to manually let us out. Second time, we were incorrectly charged $57 for 18hrs parking when the rate should be $42 per 24 hours. I still have absolutely no idea how we got to $57. The attendant on the call was rude and dismissive and essentially blackmailed and forced us into paying the fee at risk of being trapped in the parking lot. We were well and truly ripped off. And that's without even factoring in the disgusting, dirty, unpleasant environment. I will be speaking to my credit card company regarding the incorrect charge as that was a complete scam.

It has been a true pleasure parking at this garage the past few months. The parking manager was very friendly and quick to respond when I had an issue at the gate. I highly recommend parking here. Not to mention, their monthly pricing is reasonable.
