This is the social security office. I have never seen such scare tactics going on. They have over 40 seats in the office but only allow ten patrons in at a time remind you these people are disabled, elderly, and some mentally challenged. The rest of the people are standing in the hallway. Talking about covid restrictions but every festival in New Orleans wide open shame on this city service for allowing this to take place. I'm here with my husband who is ill.

They do not let you sit down in the lobby to make a call, all the leather seats are just for the show.

I was discriminate against in the lobby I visited the social security office in the building I'm disabled and wanted to sit in the lobby and was told I couldn't because I visited social security. Race and handicap discrimination. I called to complain and he said the chairs are for decoration. Being smart. Social security needs to get out of that racist building

Visiting in town with my girlfriend and during a heavy rainstorm stopped in the lobby to make a quick phone call to cancel a WW2 museum outing and be on our way. We weren’t there to cause any trouble or wander the building. Despite explaining this, the guard stationed there treated us like criminals and threw us out of the building despite other people making calls in the lobby. Awful way to treat people and felt humiliated.
