440 Keawe St Parking

Visitors beware!!!!!!!! This parking garage will COST you if you exceed the first hour. The rate shown is misleading. Yes you get 1hr free parking, but it grows exponentially from there. We parked there for 2hr 48 min. The first hr was free, then $3.99 per 30min. Our total was $12.99. My suggestion is to park at metered parking—free on Sundays.

So apparently with or without validation parking is free for the first hour either way but found out after parking for 1 hour and 1 minute with validation I still had to pay for parking. So if you plan to have dinner at hmart, it's better to leave the parking lot and then come back in again before the hour ends... Also most of the stalls are compact but don't have labels A lot of blindspots and desperate parking stall placement.
