50 West Oliver Street Garage

Garage was advertised by neighboring Lyric Theater but is grossly unprepared for event parking. While there was an option to prepay, the garage did not require payment on entry, and was not able to process payments from those who had not prepaid quickly enough at the end of the show to avoid complete gridlock. We were stuck on the 4th floor unable to even get out of our parking spot for well over 30 minutes. Do not use for event parking.

I use this garage because it's close by to my office. It's almost always empty during the day, which makes it perfect for me. I can't speak on how the garage is after Lyric events though. They only have one exit so maybe it gets backed up on busy nights?

Horrible gridlock after event at the Lyric. Waited 45 minutes to exit the parking garage.
