55 Hawthorne Parking

Insane to have a garage close at 7pm and not have that be obviously stated. Small hours on a tiny sign while pulling off a road full of traffic is not it. Abusive hours/signage to take advantage of people. Parkers beware, they close at 7pm. You'll have an easier time seeing that in this review than in how they advertise it.

Parking options in this part of town is generally awful, this is one of the less-awful places to park. At least they don't double charge for having an "oversized vehicle" like most of these places do. It's tight so you can't park that big of a rig anyways. Beware they close early, like 7pm, if you don't get your car out before then tough luck until the next morning.

They won’t let you use the bathroom because it’s “only for employees” even though they say it’s public parking garage. Too expensive and very small. The lobby security staff also won’t let you use any bathroom inside the building, despite having paid for parking in this garage, they keep saying it’s not for the “public“. Confusing payment while leaving, paid $18 for 30 min

Why does the garage close at 7pm?! This should be made much more obvious. The number on the small sign you are apparently expected to read as you get off the road did not answer or respond to voicemail for the fee to get the car out. I had to go back to my car in the morning. I cannot understand how this is good for customers.

Staff is nice and helpful and it's in a good location. HOWEVER, it only OPENS UNTIL 7 PM, and the sign can be easily missed so definitely beware of that. This is also why I can only give it a low rating, which is very unfortunate.
