6 Atlantic St Garage

First time here, this parking garage is suggested for the Newark brewery. We pulled in the garage, took the ticket and parked. We used the garage for less than an hour, went to pay at the machine and the machine isn't accepting credit cards! The price to park in this garage is $18, no signs to let you know pricing by the hour or anything. The pay machine is only accepting cash! There wasn't a parking attendant in the garage, the intercom button was not working at all. I tried to call the company for assistance, no answer! There were other people in the garage having the same issue. We were told by some random guy that the parking attendant had just left and he had to let a bunch of other cars out of the parking lot for the same problem! Horrible. Horrible garbage. Horrible customer service. I have had so many issues with this parking garage within the past few months. I have a Planet Fitness membership which allows me 1 hour of free parking. Sometimes the garage doesn’t honor that and I’ll have to pay $18. Today I pulled up and the machine wouldn’t accept my card. It took 10 min to reach a person through their intercom. The only solution was to get a normal ticket and pay for my time in the garage. No other solution even tho I showed proof of my active membership. Meanwhile, at the same time, a woman was trying to exit the garage and she was saying that she has been waiting 15 min trying to get a hold of someone to help her exit the parking garage. Horrible parking garage, they force you to pay double even after you have shown your receipt to the camera since there is no parking attendant after 5pm and no one to assist. The machine doesnt give change and the attendant REFUSES to give you your money back. Horrible customer service would not recommend

Only exit machine isn’t working. No one manning the station. Over 8 cars are waiting to get out
