Always have a great experience with A-1 Allstate Movers. Marlin, the manager, was incredibly nice and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Pedro, the mover, was super helpful, professional, and handled everything with care. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a reliable moving team.

I have now used A-1 Allstate twice, the first time for a major move out of a large home where we had lived for 16 years, and the second time a 7-hour move into storage. On both occasions the movers worked tirelessly and fast without a break, and there was no damage to any items. This is the best moving company I've ever used, and the friends I send to A-1 all seem to agree. These folks do things the right way. They do a professional job of packing, and they are real experts at organizing and loading the truck properly to avoid damage. And I was surprised that what I paid was definitely not any more than the "men in a truck" outfits, and the quality of the service was vastly better.

Most horrible moving experience EVER. I hired three movers. Only two showed up and one one showed up an hour later. They made dents and scratches in the walls of the home I was moving out of. I tried to tell one of the movers not to carry bed posts at the same time and he did it anyway and he scratched up my entire set. I had also wrapped my bed in two plastic covers so it wouldn’t get dirty during the moving process. When they walked into my home, they had taken the plastic wrapper off and dragged it and left their sweat all over my mattress. Then they forgot to leave the screws for my bed frame and took a week to get them back. When I finally did get the screws back some of them were missing. Horrible company; they took advantage of my mother, a disabled 90-year old senior citizen by refusing to reimburse her for damages caused by their movers, and taking over twice as long as necessary to complete a simple move. They are an unconscionable, corrupt and dishonest company lacking in integrity who exploits their customers. Review doesn't allow for zero stars; they don't deserve even 1 star. A-1 Allstate Movers was hired in mid-June 2018 to do a simple 1-bedroom move from an independent senior apartment to an Assisted Living facility, with a quoted time of approximately 3 hours. As the apartment did not include moving kitchen furniture, it was not even a completely furnished 1 bedroom apartment.
