Second update. As we are settling in and still unboxing, which if you move you know takes time. I continue to find broken items. I have uploaded new photos of a bass drum practice pad which is made from heavy heavy plastic and metal and somehow the movers managed to break it. This goes to show how careless they were with our things. Nancy refused to email me back. I had to pay to ship items we specifically told the movers NOT to bring back to Denver. Again, this is the worst moving experience we’ve had and as stated below we move a lot more than most people. Sending an update to my first review. Our experience with A1 Freeman has been nothing but stressful and frustrating. We moved out of state and paid extra for them to pack everything for us. The packing team showed up to our house and packed most of our items but left the entire garage for the movers to pack, who then used a completely different inventory numbering system making it incredibly difficult to track our belongings. The movers showed up with only 2 people for a 4,000 sq ft house, which is ridiculous. A few additional movers showed up around 8pm but in total, they were at our house from 9am until after midnight. The movers were very nice but even they said it was ridiculous how understaffed they were for our move. I ended up helping them move furniture and boxes to try and help speed things up. Today, we had a wonderful experience with A-1 Moving Group. My friend Ann B., from Arizona, along Rene’ and I, met two pleasant individuals with this company, DJ and Jesus. Both men arrived timely and moved Ann’s items in, guiding them up a steep set of narrow stairs. They reassembled tables, a sofa, a recliner and unpacked boxes. Clothing was also hung into the closet😳. These guys were so efficient and courteous. We highly recommend DJ and Jesus from A1freeman Moving Group to anyone looking for caring, efficient and courteous movers.
