A-1 Grass Sand & Stone, Prosper

Scammed me and deceived me about stones delivered were wrong size - point fingers, lies, does not care about their customers at all and will keep your money after delivering the wrong rocks telling you one thing and doing another is illegal they’re about to find that out. This might work somewhere else, but it doesn’t work here, not even a little bit and I am now taking them to court for deceptive trade practices with knowledge. Extremely poor standards and lies.

Great service, great price. 14 FULL pallet of Emerald Zoysia with only 3 damaged pieces. Delivery was as scheduled and dropped off exactly where requested. All of the sod was full green and was mud grown NOT thin sandy loam grown as so many places supply. I have put this in a shaded area where Bermuda refuses to grow. I anticipate a good looking lawn when it has matured.

Purchased over $1,500 worth in 10 pallets from this location. Sold on it being "fresh cut" and which I UNDERSTAND how dormancy works. But this grass is terrible, and this business offered offered zero solutions. instead they said "you are just barely calling us now" haha... You were closed Sunday, and it was laid down Saturday also while your business hours were closed. Hard to review 10 stacked pallets after it's delivery, until it's LAID-DOWN... common sense, which this business has none of. AWFUL customer services, and if buying in bulk quantity, please shop it out better than I did. I have seen fresher grass at Lowes & Home Depot... This place is more like Z-9 not A-1....

I recently had a business interaction with A1 that did not meet my expectations. I was planning on leveling my lawn with sand over the long 4th of July weekend and planned on having A1 supply the sand. When reviewing the available types of sand on their website, it notes that their washed sand is "finely graded sand and can be used to topdress golf course greens." Sounded perfect for my application. So I called A1, explained what I needed, and placed an order for 3 yards of washed sand to be delivered to my residence.
