We had a quote from Ostrom of $710 to have our thermostat and contactor replaced. A1 was recommended to me by a coworker, they came out and were very quick and thorough, said we didn't need the contactor- and only charged $317 for the service fee AND the thermostat! They'll be my go-to from now on 👍 super grateful for them since money is very tight for us after the holidays!

Mini split install was scheduled for an 8:00 AM start today. The crew didn’t arrive until 8:45—and unfortunately, they showed up without much info on where or how the job was supposed to be done. The guys themselves were great—very experienced and easy to talk to—but it was clear management dropped the ball. Mistakes happen, but for a company that’s been around this long, I expected a smoother start. Because of the mix-up, I suggested we reschedule for a day when they’re fully ready to rock. We should be hearing from management soon fingers crossed it goes better from here!

We have used A-1a lot, and every time I have been impressed by the high quality of their work.They totally redid our crawl space, including putting in new ducts and flooring and adding a dehumidifier. They kept our old heat pump running until it failed completely after 20 years, and in the last two years they installed a heat pump for downstairs and then another for upstairs. Our house is quirky so they have had to find creative solutions in some cases. They tell us when they are coming and arrive on time. Regardless of the years of experience and specialty, they all are experts. After the heat pumps were installed, they sent someone later in the day to double check the install. Everyone is personable, so I feel comfortable asking a thousand questions that they always answer patiently

My brother is battling Glioblastoma and his heating went out. A1 came out, accessed the situation, ordered the system and had it install in one day. They went above and beyond to help my brother out!
