Scott and the A-AFFORDABLE AC Team, I am writing to share my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service we recently received. After the recent hard freeze in Texas, our AC unit failed to respond when the weather warmed up. My husband and I performed basic troubleshooting, such as checking fuses and thermostat connections, but we could not resolve the issue. After our regular company failed to respond and others quoted expensive "after-hours" fees, we reached out to A-AFFORDABLE AC. Scott arrived at our home within the hour and identified the problem—a faulty wire—fixing it shortly thereafter. Houston and surrounding areas were hit with hurricane Beryl causing major damage to the area. Millions of people were with out power. My house has a back up Generac generator so I had power at home but my A/C failed. I spoke to Scott's brother Richard and within 10min Scott was at my front door. We agreed that the 20yr old unit had to be replaced. Scott sent me a quote to replace the system and within a day my house was comfortable again. I want to say Thank you to A Affordable Comfort for delivering their excellent service in the mist of what we were all going through with the hurricane. Thank you Scott, Richard and your team.

So thankful for Scott! He was able to come out SO quickly (the same evening we called) and stayed until he could thaw out our system and make a determination on what was needed. He was able to look up our warranty and had us up and cooling the same night. Would absolutely recommend and will use him in the future!

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE This company told me that they unclogged the a/c drain and the unit should be working and cooling the house in a few hours. The house did not cool down even after a day and a half. Called them back; this time they gave me a diagnosis of corroded/leaking filter drier and no freon at all. Gave me a whopping written estimate in the mid $800's. I called for a second opinion; this second company informed me that A Affordable pumped down and closed down the system. This second opinion opened the valves and found that the unit is full of freon. Now the a/c is fixed without any major expense on my part. My house has cooled off nicely without any more problems. I would NOT recommend this A Affordable Comfort to anybody because of their DECEPTION and DISHONESTY to me. I would

Called Scott, answered the phone immediately, was at the house within a couple of hours, he diagnosed & repaired the problem within the hour. We have called upon Scott in the past & always find him to be honest & trustworthy. Highly recommend.
