Highly recommended. I called with a lost key situation knowing getting my classic car rekeyed would be in the hundreds as another locksmith had warned me and he couldn’t do it. A Better Deal as very patient and very cost concerned for me and it only took him a few minutes to solve the problem and hand me new keys for a few bucks.

Service was quick and done professionally. I called and was able to get seen within 30mins. Highly recommend.

My ignition key broke off while it was in the keyhole! And AAA said they didn’t have anyone to help me on the weekend. But they said they would reimburse me if I found someone (yet to see about that). I texted the proprietor and he gave me some tips for trying to start the car, anyway. I couldn’t do it, so I had my car towed to him. He and his assistant started work right away (how embarrassing, he was able to start it with the key nub where I had failed) and he had to remove the whole ignition cylinder and take it apart to get out the chunk of key. While I’m watching all this, fascinated, he tells me more than I’ve ever heard in my life about car keys and locks and stuff specific to Toyotas, even suggestions on how to keep this from happening again, which I’m in the process of following.

My car doors glitched locked on its own even when key in ignition. Gave him a texted and was able to meet within 20minutes to open my car. He asked me to help hold the flashlight and verbally instruct where his tool was pointing near the door handle. Gave me a bit of attitude when I wasn’t helping enough, like I was an employee on payroll. Successfully opened it. I paid and said farewell. I hope to never be in this situation again. Overall, I would recommend this service. Fair price and arrived quickly even in rain.

Excellent experience working with A Better Deal Locksmith. Professional service on the phone and in person. My Mom needed to have keys for remotes for her van cut. He was upfront about what he might be able to do and what the challenges might be and what the cost would be. When she went in person, he quickly handled her request and the price was as quoted. Very fair prices with excellent service. We will definitely use them in the future! Highly recommend!
