Hired A+ to finish floors in a recent remodel. There were three rooms. One was old stained wood. The others new matching wood species but unstained and bare wood. I hired them to stain the new wood to "closely match" the old. After two attempts of sanding and polyurethaning the new wood was just as lite as when they started and the dark brown and blond borders between the three rooms ridiculous. They insisted they had stained them but when I showed them a piece of the wood I had stained using the same stain it matched perfect. They quit the job and took 2/3 of my money saying "we are done" no refund. I had to hire a new company to sand the whole area bare again and stain it. They got it perfect on the first attempt and said that the other company "A+" didn't know what they were doi

Very helpful stuff. I needed to match the stain so they help me test the samples on the real wood in the store. Great selection too.
