A Plus Mowers

Save your money, go somewhere else!! Dropped off two pieces of lawn equipment with them last fall. They refused to fix one of them claiming it was “not worth their time” but still wanted to charge me for a diagnostic fee, even though they couldn’t tell me what was wrong with it. The other piece they misplaced parts of it and claimed I dropped it off that way. They told me they would follow up once they found them and had a chance to test the equipment once it was fixed. I never heard back from them for months and followed up recently just to come to find out that there’s hundreds of dollars worth in storage fees attached to my bill and when I asked them about it, the owner told me it was my fault and it’s the customer’s responsibility to follow up with the repair shop to see if their wor

Very disappointed. Was upcharged as the owner said he had to do extra work, so we wouldn't come back with a problem. It worked fine a total of ONCE. Then the self propel stopped. A few mows later, the problem that was "fixed" recurred. The owner was so arrogant that we chose to just eat the over priced fix. Don't go there.

DO NOT do business here. Consistent with previous reviews, dishonest, poor workmanship, poor communication, and unprofessional. Bob picked up my mower in the fall, told him it was “no rush” and he could work on it over the winter. He never called saying it was fixed and after repeatedly calling him in the spring he tried to charge me $3800 in “storage” fees and told me my mower was at an “undisclosed location” and to call his lawyer if I wanted it back.

I called a+ to bring in my push mower to get it starting again. The owner is very nice. I only gave four stars due to the following reasons. 1. He first quoted me at $60. When he knew the price was going to double that would have been a perfect time to give me a call and ask me if it was ok before doing the work. 2. Doing additional work that was not asked for. Which was replacing the mower blade. This had nothing to do with actually starting the lawn mower. Another reason to make a phone call and ask if I wanted to replace that during this repair. 3. Another reason to call is if the job is going to take longer than what you initially stated. Like waiting for parts. Called them to pick up my lawn tractor and 1) Clean the carburetor 2) Sharpen the blades 3) Mount the mower deck, which was currently taken off. They picked it up from the house, and never called me to give me any kind of estimate. They didn't return any of my phone calls, never let me know even a ballpark figure of how much the service would cost. After two weeks with no contact, they finally told me they were missing a bracket to mount the deck. I looked in my shed and dropped it off to them ten minutes later. At this point when I asked how much the bill would be, the guy I spoke to told me the carburetor work "Wasn't that bad, they just had to flush the carb, didn't take long at all." He still couldn't tell me how much the bill would be, even though apparently the work was done a
