A residential A/C unit purchased at A Y McDonald Supply, lasted 1 year before failing in August of 2024 and with temps being as high as 110°. The product is covered by a 10-year warranty on registered products and 5 years on unregistered products. The failed part was the coil. (In doing product research, it appears as though this is definitely not the first time these coils have failed) The part failed in August. As of today, October 29th, (2 MONTHS LATER), I still can't get that part. Another air conditioning unit had to be purchased elsewhere because AY McDonald's products aren't to be trusted, and neither is their product and customer support. I tried to get the unit replaced. They say... because it's not an emergency, they will not warranty the part. This is the warranty language
