The first guy that showed up was not good at his job, technically or otherwise. He could not, or would not, shim a lock cylinder, thereby forcing me to replace my very nice exterior door hardware with whatever overly expensive and underperforming things he could sell me. He also tried repeatedly to put a wood screw into a steel plate, so I warned him that he was going to strip out the lock hardware, or my door, unless he used a proper machine screw from his kit, or borrowed from my existing hardware. That really set him off, and he proceeded to treat me and the job like garbage until I called his dispatcher to send someone else. A1 Affordable Locksmiths is the best locksmith service. Professional, courteous and fast. Josh came to install and re-key a double-barreled lock in our home. He communicated about his arrival time, was punctual, and did the work quickly making polite conversation. When he had to return with a part he didn't have on hand, he did so without any fuss and within a week. He checked and re-checked his work to be sure it was good and had me confirm it was to my satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This is the second time I have used Ron's services and I would never use anyone else. He is prompt, can communicate via text (which I prefer), friendly, completely reasonably priced, and does excellent work. I know when I'm working with Ron, I'm working with the best - a true lock genius - and someone who takes pride in a job well done.

The tech Josh took great care of us. He showed up early for the job and worked fast. We even had an issue with the keys being incorrect (not his fault) and he came back on a Sunday to fix it free if charge. I would recommend this company for sure!

Their service didn't do a good job. They often miss following up with people. I had to call them 3 times for a locksmith to actually come to me. Even when I get connected to a locksmith, he was not punctual with his response time. The repair he made on my house ended up making more damages to my door that need more repair in the future. I highly recommend seeking another locksmith. Don't go for this "affordable locksmith" because you get what you pay for, unremarkable service.
