We are incredibly happy (and impressed) with the work Dan and his guys have done! Dan worked within our ideas and desires to refit our basement, adding a 3/4 bathroom, storage room, and maintenance access, as well as refinishing the office and living space post-flooding damage. We spend a lot of time in our basement and Dan understood that, and created a comfortable and beautiful new space down there. Some specifics: --Dan's team finished the job 2 days ahead of his estimate. They were here every day, not splitting time between our basement and another work site. His team arrived at exactly the same time every day, stayed the whole day, and worked the whole time. We cannot say enough good things about Dan at A1 Quality Construction for both his craftsmanship and his character. He was the only one who came into our home during the quoting process and pointed out a safety concern for our family. When he started demo, it was clear we made the right choice by following his guidance and expertise. The work he did on our sunroom to make it safe and nice looking was top notch, and he did it at a fair and affordable price. He started on our project quickly and his turnaround time for the job, even unanticipated parts, was quick as well. After working with Dan, we will be recommending him to anyone in need of work done on their house.

Very happy with the A1 Quality Construction team. Dan was professional, and his team was punctual. About two weeks prior to the scheduled start date, Dan called us to inform us that the material prices had increased considerably, AND THAT HE WAS WILLING TO REFUND 100% OF OUR DEPOSIT if the price increase exceeded our budget. I knew he was honest because material prices have been increasing throughout the year in my place of work. I also confirmed the increases with others in the construction field. The fact that Dan was willing to fully refund my deposit and cancel the job spoke volumes about his integrity. We are very pleased with the service Dan of A-1 Quality gave us. They came when they said they would and made every effort to accommodate our wishes/design for a side entryway for our 150 year old home. Due to it’s uniqueness it did take longer than they had projected, BUT very importantly there was no additional charge, only the original quote. We also appreciated the fact they didn’t try to take shortcuts to finish…but were very dedicated to doing a thorough job. The carpenters really took pride in their workmanship and made every effort to complete a first rate job. Dan said he wanted us happy - and we were. We’ve had a lot of compliments from our neighbors and friends. Dan and his crew were fine people, you would enjoy working with them.

The review written by Dan Smith is a bogus review. It was written by a disgruntled employee and we have been trying to get it removed for over a year now. If anyone has any ideas how to do this, please let us know.
