After extensive attempts to resolve the matter directly, it escalated into a formal dispute resolved in our favor, with no follow-through afterward. Proceed only with third-party inspections and payment released solely upon verified completion.

In 2011, they rebuilt our chimney from roof line up. I was told they would install new flashing. In 2020, I started noticing signs of water in an upstairs bed room ceiling in the center of house. I had called Maureen for a routine chimney cleaning. She had called me back to schedule the cleaning date. She confirmed the date and then I told her about the water issue.She told me they would take a look at it and get it fixed. They never showed up for the cleaning. I called and left several messages and she never called back. In my estimation, once she realized the previously job was faulty, she decided to disappear. When it was time to get my roof redone, the contractor Asked me why didn’t the chimney company replace the flashing? He told me that the current one is as old as the roof they

Maureen was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We just purchased a new home and were recommended to Maureen to have her check out the fireplace and chimney. She was very responsive and were able to schedule with her right away. Her and her employee showed up at the house and gave the chimney and fireplace a thorough check. She gave great recommendations and was not pushy at all. When I need chimney and fireplace work in the future I know where to call. Maureen and her crew at Abbey Chimney are great.

BEWARE!!! I gave Maureen 3k for a chimney job but she delayed over a month so I had to go with another company, which charged me half of what she was charging me. I was a friend of hers, she was giving me the friends & family cost, ha. To this day she hasn’t paid me back the 3k, it’s been 9 months already. UPDATE: just got paid in full after a year & a half. Thank you Maureen!!
