Abodian

In November 2024 our kitchen was destroyed in a “Bomb Cyclone “event. After completely tearing out the damaged kitchen, we hired ABODIAN to help us design a new kitchen. ABODIAN came to the house to make detailed measurements, then they completed a rendering of the new kitchen design including built-in appliances, custom cabinets, drawers, and hardware. The cabinets were built to specification in ABODIAN factory. The design was challenging with a U-shaped kitchen, and a peninsula that seats 2 instead of a standard island. In addition, the design had to accommodate a large bay window over the sink, custom glass doors, glass shelves, and lighting. The countertop was DEKTON, a new product with great durability, but difficult to cut and install. This too was cut to spec and installed well. Eve

I purchased cabinets for my kitchen and bar area, along with waterproof laminate flooring for my entire home. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality of the materials — the cabinets feel solid and well-built, and the flooring looks great throughout the house. One thing I do regret (on my end) is not using Abodian’s recommended installer. In hindsight, I think that would have created a smoother experience. The material quality itself was not the issue. There are a couple of areas where I think Abodian could improve communication during the design phase: Certain tall/wide panels (like fridge side panels and island side panels) are manufactured in two pieces due to size limitations. We recently relocated to Redmond, and during the move we hired Abodian to remodel our kitchen cabinets and flooring.
