ABOUT THE MOVE

I received an estimate up front with this company before my move. As I only had a few items to move across town, I did not believe I would come close to the estimate. The move took less than two hours, but there is a two hour minimum so I was prepared to pay the hourly rate for two hours plus a premium for going up stairs at the destination. To my surprise, the owner held me to the estimate with the breakdown as follows: 2 hour minimum move time + 2 hours for her drivers to commute to Pace from Daphne, Alabama + miscellaneous fees. $800 for 5 pieces of furniture across town that took less than 2 hours. Drivers were great, but I would not recommend in good faith this business.

About the move provides a quality & professional service in an industry that requires such service. Josh and his staff are a step above the other movers I’ve experienced. We actually got to interact with the owner! How often does that happen? You owe it to yourself to give them a call.

The movers showed up about 20 minutes late but more than made up for it! The team that showed up for our move was professional and very careful loading and unloading the truck. They were so fast and really treated each item of ours as their own. DID I MENTION THEY MOVED SO FAST THAT THEY CAME IN $200 UNDER THE ESTIMATE I WAS GIVEN?! Highly recommended!!

Excellent customer service, these guys were great, hustled & were very informative on what was going when asked a question, worked diligently and was very careful with personal things. Definitely recommend & will use again. Thanks About The Move Team! Excellent job.
