Our home has a 225 foot stone driveway which went downhill toward the house. For many years we had to break 2 to 3 inches of ice at our garage door and near the house at least 20-30 times each winter because our house faces North where the sun doesn’t shine and the ice would continue to pile up all winter. Any ice melt ended up right at our house and frequently went in our basement. The Summer of 2020, Greg & Tim came out and looked at it. I was sure it would require major excavation of the earth to knock down the hill in the driveway to the road to get the water to drain away from the house.
