My AC went out and my home warranty AHS denied my claim due to reason is electrical. The tech they sent diagnosed power surge caused damage to unit. Recommended $12K to replace. I called around and found several but they all charge service fee. Called A/C captain and then a technician Gerardo. He was very thorough in diagnosing the issue, explaining patiently and did some tests. He gave me two options: repair or replace but he didn't emphasize the replace option. I opted to fix, they ordered the part and came the even though it was already late. Gerardo worked through the dark and windy weather , finished, tested and everything worked. Our old AC failed as temperature reached 116 F, they took 3 trips over, including one bringing us a window unit for overnight; then at 6 am next day everything started going great guns! And with a competitive price! They are AC Captain. They deserve my 5-star!
