AC Guys Cooling and Heating Services

We used this company for years and used to be happy with them, including having them install a new Amana system. Unfortunately, that’s when the problems started. We had ongoing issues with high humidity, drainage, and airflow. Every time we called, we were told it was “normal” or blamed on things like our filters. One “fix” was literally propping the drain line up with a piece of wood. We also pointed out a large gap in the return/filter area that was sucking in hot air and were told it was sealed — it wasn’t. Most recently, we had visible mold and were told that was “normal in Florida” and to just clean it and add more mastic. We stopped the work and got second opinions. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Two of their employees came to repair the air conditioning, entered wearing shoes, disregarding the polite notice on the door to remove them. When I saw them with their DIRTY sneakers inside the house, I asked them to take off their shoes. They rudely said they couldn't because they needed access to the roof. I asked about SHOE COVERS, and again rudely said they didn't have any and continued walking around the house with dirty shoes, including into my elderly mother's room. The least one expects is for a company to care about the health of its customers; having DISPOSABLE SHOE COVERS is not a cost, it's an investment. But if the company doesn't think that way, it doesn't care about its customers. I am extremely upset about this; I have never seen anything like it,

I’ve worked with AC Guys on 2 different units and they took care of the situation wonderfully. This week I had a problem with my heater during some very cold FL days. The receptionist was very kind and got me on the schedule that day. David came out and examined the whole unit and found dangerous breakers in my electric panel causing the air and heat to turn off. Even found an electric burning smell in the house and the AC breaker heating up. Got it all fixed and taken care of. Now our heat and air is working properly. Thanks guys!

Honest and friendly. I called as a 2nd opinion and they caught “the other guys” in a lie. AC Guys are honest and affordable and do things right the first time. So glad my friends recommended them to us!
