I called around and everyone wanted to charge for a service call before giving me any estimate over the phone of what it might cost. I was simply asking for a ballpark figure to know if I should wait or not on making such an expense. Eagle was able to give me a roundabout estimate over the phone which then I felt they were more interested in helping my situation than in finding ways to make money off of me. The job wound up taking hours longer than expected and the tech skipped lunch. I only saw him take a break to drink water. It was 95 outside and pretty much the same inside the house. He didn’t complain and kept his spirits up. As a retired manager, I can appreciate honest and hard working people. Easily five stars.
