I've used Alex's services a few different times now in the Noe Valley area, both for electronic lock installation and replacing a standard lock. He's always been incredibly prompt to arrive and fast to complete his work, and I've been happy with the results. I called another locksmith in town from a larger shop and found out that their minimum charge just for showing up was greater than what Alex charged me.

I called Ace for a lockout and they were there in 25 minutes! Unfortunately, I had a mix up with another lock service that farmed out my info so I had another tech arrive just before who had already started on the job. This tech tried to charge me over TWICE the cost that Ace quote me. Due to Ace's great pricing, I was able to negotiate a better deal with the other locksmith, but still wish I had just used Ace exclusively. Beware that some locksmith "businesses" on Google are just call centers that farm out your info. When you call Ace, you actually talk and deal with the business directly.

Called and was told he could be at my house in 20 minutes. And he was! Quick, professional, personable. What more do you want? Will definitely call next time. Just hope I don't lock myself out again!
