We needed a new garage door opener in Nov 2025. Called Tina at Acorn. She set up my appointment. Courteous, professional and really “on the ball”. Steve then came to my home for the repair. He was friendly, extremely patient with my many questions and was done in about an hour. Acorn is a solid company to contact with any overhead door issues. Highly recommend!

I’m a Licensed Builder and career Finish Carpenter. My own garage door was experiencing some programming issues and I’d rather save the money and do things on my own than call a tech and get a service fee. I got stuck and started calling around. Justin was the only one who answered. He understood I was in the trades and that this was likely a simple enough fix that he could work through the issues with me on the phone. We spent thirty or so minutes together on the phone trying to correct. My system was not responding as it should have during that process and Justin knew something wasn’t right and had to come get hands on. He stopped by a couple days later and found the issue immediately. Great service provided and down to earth guy that I’d work with any time. Great experience.

Called Acorn for some regular maintenance, lubrication, and new weather sealing on my garage door. Communication to set up the appointment could have been better, but the technician Steve called when he was 30 mins out. Steve was friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable at his trade. He took the time to give me some advice on how to keep my garage door in top shape and explained why I was having the issues I had. Pricing was also what I believe to be fair. I will definitely be calling Acorn for all my future maintenance and eventual replacement.

Sorry, I forgot the installers name, however he was very professional and courteous. He called about a half hour away and asked if he could stop by earlier than the original appointment time that was prearranged. The installer answered all my questions (and I had many) and explained as he demonstrated the operation of the garage door once the work was completed. The wires for the wall mount remote and beam sensors were carefully traced along the structural beams in my garage for a clean professional look. He cleaned up the work area and took the old unit, railing, ect away. I would definitely recommend Acorn Overhead Door to friends and family.
