Active Pest Control

Please do not use. I was deployed last year and they cancelled my termite service without any notice while I was gone. I cancelled the pest control in the beginning of the year when I got home and no one came out all year. All of a sudden in October 2024, they start showing up with no notice. They also continued to charge me all year. I called to dispute the pest control charge and found out they had cancelled my termite and would reinstate for the full price vs what my annual renewal was supposed to be. Somehow my pest control is on automatic debit but my termite wasn’t…which is not how I set it up. Manager called me and basically said good luck, I can’t help you. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I gave them a chance to make it right and the manager just blew me off. Merry Christmas to you

Here I am FINALLY posting this review 2.5 years later. Do not waste your time and money using Active Pest Control. We had the worst experience with them (especially Zane Doles). We had an issue with rodents getting under our house and he did not listen to me, and rodents kept getting in and they kept just setting traps week after week (rodents can’t live for too long being stuck in an attic w/o food, so they were clearly getting in and out). We shelled out SO much money to them and they never even fixed the problem. Thankfully, we started using Gilstrap Exterminating and they finally fixed the issue!! They also aren’t a large company like Active that just want to take your money. Be careful who you trust!

This company is bad all around. I understand why their quote was much cheaper. They care about driving new business and once they get your credit card info they don't call you like they say they will, they don't even answer their customer service lines for existing customers. The only way to reach an individual by phone is to call saying you want to establish new service to which he will respond "oh yea systems been messed up this week Sorry." I was told I'd be called to schedule my appt, to which The call I got was a robo call telling me I was an afternoon appt. Been home all afternoon with no contact from anyone and I have plans in an hour and a half. Couldn't even reach the line to schedule/re-schedule my appt. *updated review- I posted a poor review with an overview of my experience. I had a phone call from the VP of the company within 24 hours and an inside spay service on the same day. Both gentlemen were professional, helpful and displayed top notch customer service. My bill was returned to the original amount. I am only giving 4 stars. As a customer i was not given a notice or choice in regard to no longer spraying inside my home. I have been told the will come inside for specific issues.

The customer service and communication provided initially was outstanding. We had an issue with buzzing in our walls and no other pest control company could help us. At Active, both the sales associate (David) and manager (Kevin) stated the noise was coming from the attic (wasp nest). They proceeded to tell us about their quarterly pest service which would take care of our problem. Unfortunately, this did not solve our problem after TWO treatments/ service calls. After numerous calls and texts, David stopped responding and Kevin finally sent me a TEXT to let me know they would have to cut into the Sheetrock to see what was going on (never discussed initially). NO ONE called me back, only texts... finally, I called the office to terminate our contract which has a 30 day satisfaction cl
