Adirondack Building Restoration

Matt and his crew at Adirondack Building Restoration completed rebuilding 57 piers and footings that had failed underneath our main camp structure on Rocky Point on Little Moose Lake. They have put the old camp on solid supports so it will last indefinitely with all but 3 of the concrete piers now fastened to bedrock, drilled for rebar which is encased in the new concrete piers that now come above the ground surface. Pressure treated 6” x 6” timbers support 5 new laminated beams on which the floor joists now rest. The 3 piers that are not on bedrock go down 4’ deep below the frost line. Bolts, screws, and angle brackets stabilize each pier assembly. The team also resolved the integrity of the west porch under the living room door and rebuilt the stairs off each end of the porch beautifull

Matt and his crew built a full block foundation with footers under our circa 1920 Sears camp in Old Forge in December 2024. Our camp is 20ft from a neighbor, so the crew was very respectful of any impact on the neighbor's property. Very professional people to work with.

Matt and his team did an excellent job of bolstering up the sagging foundation of our circa 1910 summer home on 4th Lake! They were able to lift the floor 6 inches and stabilize a structure that was sinking into the sand. The whole house used to rattle when anyone walked across the floor. Now it feels solid and secure. We are so pleased with the work that has been done to save our happy place from falling apart!

We had some foundation work done previously that was not completed properly. Adirondack Building Restoration stepped in, worked with our structural engineer and building inspector, came up with a plan, and properly corrected the work. The work was done timely and to specifications. The team were professional and went above and beyond to ensure the work was done correctly. We are completely satisfied with their work and highly recommend them to anyone seeking foundational work done.
