Advanced Appliance Services

To start off, I was referred to Advanced Appliance Services from a good friend of ours, and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with the service. Our technician was kind, honest, professional and after consulting us and looking in the oven, laid out exactly what our oven problem was (the igniter), what could be done, what may happen, and the cost before he had done anything. After explaining our problem, he explained to us that our oven had a different type of igniter, which had known troubles way back when it was being produced in the mid'ish 2010's, which was interesting because I had no idea it was even a thing in that era (and we must have gotten lucky with ours since it showed no issues till semi recently). And regarding cost, I found it to be quite reasonable for his expertise

I’ve had them at my house 3 times . Took a week to schedule the appointment for the technician to tell me that they need to order the parts which took another three weeks so now I’m without a dryer for a month. The second time they came they supposedly fixed the dryer a week later it goes down . had to make another appointment for the technician to come back that took two weeks a hour after the technician left the dryer stopped working. Now they’re telling me I have to call Lowe’s to get a replacement.

This company will be my "go to" appliance repair company from now on. I called yesterday, freaked out because my washer was making scraping noises. Art (the owner, I think??) gave me advice and my washer is back in business. No $160 charge to come out and look. Thank you Advanced Appliance!!

Art walked into my home looked at error codes for 2 minutes and told me I should buy a new machine. I wasn’t told that a service call would be $100 for 5 minutes and zero attempt to properly diagnose. Unlike another reviewer with a similar comment, I didn’t have the same luck of not being charged. I can’t comment on this companies expertise since they didn’t perform any work, but I did feel taken advantage of and it made me annoyed. I get that time is money and a service call is not free, but come on man! For $100 at least try to pretend that you’re working on the machine for a bit. Turns out my error code requires a new heating element. Part is about $50 and labor about $150. New machine for a similar model is $1200. I’ll find another competent repair company to perform the work and kick

Absolutely chuffed to recommend Art at Advanced Appliance Services. We have an older GE Washing Machine, usual story, belt slipping. Was told by other Appliance Repair companies I "had to go through GE Service". Rang GE Service and had an absolutely terrible experience (that's another story!!!). Anyway. Desperate to get some life back into the machine I asked on a local forum and Art's name came up in 80% of the recommendations. Easiest decision ever. Called; and Art was able to come next day! Not only that he had the parts and was able to breathe some life back into our washing machine. Price was reasonable and service exemplary. Working space was left as he found it and pleased to report the machine is working well! Thanks again so much!!
