Advanced Movers

Want a mover that steals your money and doesn’t show up? This is your guy! Total scam. We were planning a move from Fargo to Minneapolis, and after a few quotes, I called Advanced Movers. Jason initially was very responsive and communicative. He asked for a deposit, which I gave him. The morning of the move we drove up from Minneapolis, as we had to be out to close on the house the next day. We couldn’t get ahold of Jason - continued to be routed to an automated voicemail saying the line was busy. Eventually we got a text that the truck was broken and they had to delay to 11AM because they were renting a truck. Then Jason called requesting the second half of the payment to “help him out with the truck”, without having provided any service. We told him no and that we would see them at 11. I

I can't say enough about this company, Jason and Abu were professional, timely, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. I called on a last minute project and these guys were able to show up in 20 minutes, they made my move an absolute breeze. I highly recommend Advanced Movers, and I will definitely be using them for any of my future moves! Thank you guys again!!!

Absolutely horrible, I would give it zero stars if it was possible. I hired them through Uhaul and they were supposed to deliver my Ubox and load it on Feb. 24 at 11AM. I got a call from Jason around 1:30PM (more than 2 hours after the time they were supposed to be here), and he asked if we can reschedule it at 3PM or the next day at 11AM. I had plans for the afternoon so I told him 11AM works better. So today (Feb. 25), 11AM comes in and decided to give it about 15 minutes then I started calling them. I called multiple times, but each time I was sent straight to voicemail. I need my apartment empty by tomorrow morning before the carpet cleaners come in, so I canceled my reservation with Advanced Movers and booked with a different company. I would not bother booking with them at all.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Your response is incorrect. The scratch was your movers fault. My husband personally watched the previous movers when they put my items into storage. There was no ruling on the dispute, you told me you would see me in court. I did not "bash" my previous movers. I have a deep scratch on my new stainless steel refrigerator door. I spoke with Jason the first time concerning my refrigerator door before the movers left my home. He said he had insurance and to call him on Monday. When I called on Monday he was very nasty and he said I would have to take him to small claims court. The replacement refrigerator doors cost me $1,200.00. I would not recommend using this company.

I reserved this company, set up an appointment time and prepaid for 2 hours. They were 2.5 hours late - I called 5 times within this timeframe and was continuously told they were "on the way."At this point we didn't think they were coming so we started moving everything in ourselves. By the time they arrived they only did about 30 minutes of labor as I didn't want their help with unpacking boxes and organizing. I asked to be refunded for 1 of the 2 hours. Was told they couldn't afford to refund me $130. Unfortunate experience, unreliable, bad communication.
