Just call these guys!!!!! I called another plumber near me first because i wasn't sure if my home was too far from Elgin for them. I should have called them first when I saw they were recommended on the NextDoor app! Right away the first plumber i called, had called these guys in. That plumber spoke so highly of these guys at A&E so i was confident with the recommendation. These guys arrived in about 30 minutes. I warned them before they went down into my basement. I had a soft blockage that caused raw seeage to go up and flood my entire basement floor. Yeah, it was WAY worse than it sounds. These guys are tough, hardworking professionals. They were able to get my pipes drained and water flowing again. I am so thankful they were brave enough to go into my basement. I wasn't going anywhere

This company came out at a time of need regarding a sewer/drainage issue. They were not only polite, but professional in the process of making sure my house was taken care of. They provided recommendations for future issues as well. I appreciate their help. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area in need.

I had a great experience with A&E. I just became a first time homeowner and was told by a different plumbing company that I needed to dig up my yard and replace my sewage line. Which would have costed me thousands of dollars. I heard great things about A&E so I gave them a call for a second opinion. From the very start they were so friendly and helpful. A&E Sewer and Drainage are the best around! Our house in Marengo had an emergency with a blocked up main line that needed rodding. It was 2 pm on a Wednesday and we contacted 44 (yes you read that right, 44!!) plumbing and sewer companies in the region and no one could come out for at least a few days. Try not using every sink, shower, and toilet for a few days with 4 people in the house before a holiday weekend. Found the number for A&E sewage and gave them a call and they had great customer service. They promptly took my call, were very honest about their timeline, fit me in after a late running appointment, and came out in the pouring rain to sit at the exterior access point to the sewer main line and fix my blockage problem that very same night.
