Affordable Fence & General Construction

I am deeply disappointed. An appointment was scheduled two days prior. On the morning of my appointment, I called in the morning to confirm the afternoon appointment. During my appointment's one hour arrival time frame, 40mins in, I receive a call that their estimator isn't able to make it. Things happen and I can understand that but respecting the consumer's time and money is important when running a business. I could have scheduled other appointments. It would have been a nice business gesture to receive a confirmation call beforehand and then provide a timely cancellation notice. I'm sharing this experience for others because I rely on reviews when researching businesses. I hope that you have a better experience and if you can recommend a reliable fence builder, please share. for 2 days, 2 different appointment waited for Tom to come out and give us a quote for our fence, and he doesn't bother to come onto our property, tries calling, but we are outside at the time waiting, so they don't bother coming since we didn't answer our phone even though we have an appt. When I connect with Tom he told me to find someone else to quote the job when i questioned why they didnt come into the property when we had a set appt. Rude, unprofessional, I waited for almost 2 weeks for that appt. BE AWARE.......

The receptionist was friendly and we set an appointment to have someone come out to give us a quote on our porch railing remodel. The appointment was scheduled for 8am and I called at 8:20 after no one showed up. I was told the appointment window was from 8-9 and someone would call when they're on their way. 2 hours later, I called the company and was told that the person who was supposed to come give us an estimate was sick. After reading other reviews about this business being a "no show" I decided not to reschedule.

I went in wanting to shop local. The girl inside was friendly professional and knowledgeable. I only wish that service continued on with Tom. I made a appointment for several days later on a Monday. I was called early Monday and was canceled on Tom's child was sick and since his wife is a teacher in the bay area he had to stay home with the child. I was scheduled for that Wed at 10am. I waited until 10:30am and called about no one showing up. I was told it would be about an hour cause Tom got hung up at a different site. So I waited until after 12 to call again to ask where Tom was. This time I was told it will still be atleast 2pm before he could make it. I said yes come at 2pm. I stayed at the house and waited until 4:15 and I called again. This time they asked if another person could co

Truly I don't get it. I gave two stars for an ok start including first call response and showing up on time. I have an acre of property that needs to be fenced. I will add that the fencing I'm looking for is far from inexpensive. I made an appointment and as another reviewee noted, the woman who answered the phone was friendly and honest about the timeframe someone could meet with me. Tom showed up, on time. He was friendly, professional, had some good ideas about my project. He was here for probably 2 hours. He noted that it bothers him when potential customers make appointments then stand him up then review him for not showing up. I thought, "great, I finally found someone who will follow through."
