I truly can’t say enough good things about Against the Grain and its owner, Dennis. A few years ago, Dennis built our mudroom lockers, which turned out absolutely beautiful and have held up perfectly. Just recently, he completed several more projects for us: a family room TV built-in, a lower built-in for my wife’s office, and a full office built-in for myself…and every single one turned out immaculately. Dennis is the kind of craftsman and business owner you hope to find but rarely do. He is incredibly professional, kind, warm, and genuinely easy to work with. He takes immense pride in his work and approaches every project as if it were his own home, and it shows in every detail. OUTSTANDING experience working with Dennis from Against The Grain. Very happy with our semi-custom product Dennis and team came up with after a variety of initial plans and drawings. He listened to what we were looking to accomplish with our new space and delivered! No doubt dollar for dollar (or MORE) increase in value of home....not that we're going anywhere! Thanks Dennis and Against The Grain!! Oh yeah, nice install of our new 43" smart TV too on the wall opposite the wall unit...great new space on our main level!

Love our new built-ins. They really are an incredible upgrade for our house. Dennis and his team are wonderful and were so great in the day of the install. Put a lot of care into their work and left the area spotless. Highly recommend!
