It's an absolutely great campground. The staff is so nice and the little gift shop has nice things. This one rates very high in .y book!
This was interesting to see inside the CCC era fire watch tower. We had to ask the camp ground host for the key to get inside. The accent up the staircase is steep. It was amazing to reflect that the tower was above the pine trees that are now blocking the few. I assume the area was clear-cut and / or farmland back then, and the view was not obstructed for miles in any direction.
Great place for camping.
