Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning

Bought a new build. Airtron is contracted with our builder, banking THOUSANDS of dollars. On day 2 of living in our BRAND NEW house, it was discovered the heat upstairs was not working. Called at 9am and was told a tech would be out by 5. Around 5 I called again to confirm someone was still coming. Was told someone would call me back. Never got a call back. Not even to tell me someone wasn't coming to make other arrangements!!!!!! My builder called and attempted to escalate the issue. Got ghosted. Had to have a different company come out to ensure my children were warm (bedrooms upstairs) in a BRAND NEW home. Do better.

I’ve been paying for Airtron’s highest-tier Essential Plus plan since 2024. This weekend, my HVAC failed during freezing weather. I called at 10:30 PM Saturday — they promised a tech within an hour. Nobody came. I called again, got pushed to Sunday morning. Called again, got “escalated.” Still no callback, no technician. Eventually, they admitted they had no techs available and rescheduled me for Tuesday. When I asked how many techs they have for the entire Cincinnati/Dayton area, they said “probably one.” Let me be clear:Their “24/7 emergency service” is just phone support. No one will physically come fix your system when you need it most. If you think someone will show up — good luck. I paid for this plan and got nothing when it mattered. We have been faithful customers of Airtron in Dayton once 1997. We’ve been very loyal customers. Recently had my ducts cleaned, I was too upset to even call and complain. I don’t believe they did a good job, but they did take two chunks out of my walls, and when they dropped the bottom section of their broken ladder it took a chunk out of my engineered hardwood flooring. They left a mess in my house and I don’t believe the shop vac cleaned my ducts the way other companies do with their trucks. I hate this, as we’ve always been very pleased.

Would like to thank Airtron Technician Josh for the great service he provided today. He was very professional, knowledgable and thorough for the repair that was needed. Good to know there are still technicians that do a good job of taking care of the customer!

Gregory & Josh replaced our collector box today. They also pulled & cleaned our blower wheel. Two very good technicians, great manners and personalities. Send them to me next time !!!
