I combined the elements I liked into one sketch, and Jimmy assured me he could make it exactly as shown—and he did. As a customer, it’s a great feeling to see your vision come to life. I got several quotes, and AK Welding offered the best price. I was a little concerned that a lower price might mean lower quality, but Jimmy delivered sturdy, high-quality, well-crafted handrails. This may be an odd start to a review……. Have an old 1962 Grumman flat back canoe with a little Honda out board motor . My father bought it for the family when I was 8. I’m now 51. Over the years the boat has seen too much use and abuse and I rubbed a soft spot/hole in the back of the aluminum hull. Spoke with a number of welders in the area and all declined “aluminum welding”. Met Jimmy over the phone……friend referral Said bring it in. Fixed my hole in the boat better than originally designed and manufactured! Picked up next day Loved this guy for his effort and remember what he really does….. mom’s house in Ridgefield Park got new front stairs recently and the masons that she hired didn’t do railings.
