AKB recently completed a major renovation of my primary suite with most of the work in the bathroom. It was an extensive project and they did a fantastic job. I wouldn't change anything about the final project. I appreciated how the project manager and others came up with suggestions and adapted plans to ensure it was perfect. They take pride in their work, are always available to answer questions, and aren't done until you're happy. My 1987 builder grade bathroom and closet are gone, and now I have a real showpiece. I will hire them again to renovate my other bathroom.

Had an appointment in mid-January for a bathroom remodel and another room to remodel. Upon conversation and measurements was told it would take one week to get the estimate. After that week, I called to check on the status and the female I spoke to said it generally takes 1-2 weeks to get the estimate. She pulled my file to verify email and phone number, and even said she'll see if she can get it expedited for the estimate and will text me to update me on the status. Well, that was a month ago and never heard back by phone or email. Yes, my spam folder was checked and no calls or texts. I never felt that I was only a customer but a person that AKB wanted to please by giving me the bathroom of my dreams. I walk into my bathroom and just smile. My bathroom looks stunning! It is truly a work of expertise and quality, especially the tile craftsmanship. Were there hiccups? Sure, they come with demolition from the ceiling to the floor. But AKB assured me that everything will be taken care of, and they stand behind their word. AKB is the perfect company for home renovations! I had them create a master bathroom in my 100 year old Carytown house from an empty room off the master bedroom. The entire process from the consultation to discuss the project, to designing the room with Stephanie, to actually carrying out the project with Chris the head contractor and Laura the project manager was wonderful the entire time. This is a family owned company that does outstanding work for a fair price. The communication was nothing short of excellent the entire time and I couldn't be happier with the project! Also, this was major essentially new construction in an old house that required a lot of problem solving and this company handled these challenges perfectly! I would recommend them to anyone in the area.
