Ark is trustworthy, honest, conscientious, respectful, polite; not to mention extremely knowledgeable and professional. Also, he is so personable and easy to talk to that you feel like you've known him for years. We first met Ark of AKO Builders years ago when he gave us options/estimates for a deck around our above ground pool (a project we never had done and no longer need). His honesty and the time he took with us stayed with us which is why we called him last year to build a fence, during which the quality of his work was evident. He was able to match it to a neighboring one and, as requested, re-use parts of our original fence complete with a gate so it extended naturally to enclose our yard. AKO did a bathroom reno in a 90 yr old coop building. They removed a bathtub and installed a tile shower floor and glass enclosure and moved shower plumbing from one wall to another. They were truly professional! They knew what permits were needed and worked smoothly with the coop board, they were responsive and meticulous. I am so happy with my bathroom, which was cramped and narrow, and now feels expansive, (still narrow) Prices comparable to others, but the work is beautiful.
