Over exceeded the limit of fuel we agreed on and paid for. Adamant and demanding we pay for “the extra fuel they gave us” with the idea that this was a gift. This was a mistake. Not a gift. I’d know I have a few ex’s. Now this could go both ways, I could just be a brat, but for the cost of fuel and the situation with rising cost in the interior, mistakes like this can cause issues for residents. The lack of income people are struggling with daily is already at a national issue. These mistakes can’t be made out of the ignorance of non personal actions and paid for. Called and paid for fuel. Was told it would be 3-4 days. Perfect timing. Went out of town and they never showed up. House ran out of fuel while we were out of town over the weekend. Called Monday and was told it would still be another day to deliver or we could pay an extra $145 for emergency delivery and then was also told they were at least 10 days out so they don’t know why we were told 3-4 days. What a joke. Not even an attempt made to help remedy the situation. I usually haul my own fuel, but my truck was in the shop and I figured I could trust them to be here when they said.

Been gettimg fuel delivered for a few years now and they are always friendly, professional, and fast at their job. I almoat always get my delivery before they said i would or if itd 5-10 days, i get it on the 5th day. I dont always shovel the pathway and feel really guilty but i never get a complaint or refusal to deliver or nothing. They leave the reciept on my door handle and email if you ask. Happy to have found them. And ill add, i get a significant discount at Petro Star fuel but refuse to go there anymore. They take well over 10 days always, they charge you sometimes when you call and sometimes the day before the delivery and will not tell you (correctly) which one it will be but always seem sure it will be the day of the call or before the delivery depending on who answers. Called to place an order last week on Thursday, price was $3.74/gal. Was sent paperwork to complete, which I did and returned the same day. Was told that they would place the order for fuel on that day. Apparently they tried to call on Friday, said my voicemail was full... I have no record of a missed call. Then they called on Wednesday of the following week (conveniently the day that prices went up to $3.90+ / gal), and asked if I wanted to set up an order, overlooking what I had previously set up. The person I spoke to was adamant that they'd still have to charge me the increased rate. Seems like a pretty sleezy way to charge an extra $60+. Not a bad place to get heating oil, usually not too busy. Sometimes they also have the best price, but it definitely varies. Since they put in new pumps at the Cushman St location it's definitely a lot better, before they were painfully slow. One thing to know is that if you need a receipt you better go elsewhere, not once has it successfully printed me one, but for me it's not an issue and I enjoy the convenience of not waiting in long lines.
