Called about Kenmore gas stove. Gentleman I spoke to said he needed the model number before he could come out, as he wanted to have the right parts with him. He told me where to find the model number. I looked, but it wasn’t there. I called him back and explained what I saw, including that there were labels on the inside of the broiler door that I couldn’t read because the print was so fine, and I couldn’t get down on the floor to read it because I have bad knees. He repeated that he needed the model number before he would come out. I told him my house was right here in Albion, about 6 blocks away from his place of business, and could he come and take a look anyway? Prompt service for washer repair but did not clearly define problem. Suggested high sudsing issue or control board. Replaced control board but issue persisted and reduced detergent. 2K later...a new washer and dryer.
