Alfred I Dupont Building

Fantastic and beautiful historic builing in downtown which is also my polling place. There is a large space that can be used for parties and events. I went and enjoyed The Macallan Experience there and the setup was magnificent, with indoor gardens mimicking the original setup of the Macallan mansion. The building itself which was built in 1939 looks remarkably in great shape with luxurious details that are so rare in today's modern construction. If you are into building and architecture, this sure is one to see.

I don't usually do these types of reviews, but this one was necessary because the valet parking workers LOVE TO SEARCH AND LOOK FOR PERSONAL ITEMS INSIDE THE CAR. It's been repeated so many times, I'd like to see the face of one of those clowns getting fired for such senseless meanness! Stay alert in this place.

Please don’t park here. This is a scam. They closed the gates at 10pm on a Saturday night without telling me and my car stayed there until Monday morning because they are closed on Sundays. I had to pay an extra $50

Beware of this company. On Saturday afternoon they were willing to take our vehicle without informing us they where closing at the valet location in front of the Seybold Building. We had to walk several blocks to pick up our vehicle. When we complained, the attendant Jorge wanted to argue about the situation. We were forced to call the administrator. When the situation was explained to the administrator, she defused the situation. My issue was two fold- 1) the valet station did not inform us on closing and what we should do to get our car return; and 2) Jorge did not have the entry to solve a simple problem; which required the administrator to resolved.

Loved this venue. No parking but a great location to host an event/party.
