Algard Tile

Very unhappy with the floor tile installation of our master bath. We had a new home build 3.5 years ago with 3 bathrooms tiled. 2 of the bathrooms held up but our master has been pretty disappointing. The issue has been with the floor tile. Sever locations are extremely uneven. I don't know how an installer would let that go. The uneven tile has been that way since we moved in. And when building a new home there a hundreds (it seems) of punch list items so the uneven tile was something we never had addressed. And we are now past the 1 year warranty. The bigger problem is that for the past 1.5-2 years the tiles have been popping up. They are 12"X12" tiles with a decorative pattern. Algard Tile has a BEAUTIFUL showroom! They are open BY APPOINTMENT...ask for Lisa. The staff was so helpful when choosing tile, carpet, hardwood & luxury vinyl planks. I highly recommend this place for new or updating home projects.

Nothing wrong with the tiles, but their installation was done poorly, essentially leaving me with a floating floor and resulting in cracking of the grout. Upon reaching out, they were not responsive and took no responsibility. I had a few of the tiles lifted and replaced by a general contractor who was amazed at how little adhesive/glue/cement was used. (note in the picture that the thin white curving lines are part of the tile and NOT the adhesive).

As a local interior designer, I rely on quality materials to specify for my clients homes. I always find the perfect tile and flooring at Algard. Very happy with their professional installation services as well. Highly recommend!

The Google maps listing says they're open, but the store is closed. The sign on the door says call for an appointment and nobody ever picks up the phone on November 1st, 2022. Other than that probably a good tile store.
