I called All About Painting due to a coupon, which did cause me some initial concerns - what's the catch? John was upfront and honest with the pricing and the coupon savings. I contracted to have 4 rooms painted before my husband returned from England. The guys showed up ready to paint. As a professional business coach, I know its extremely hard for companies to get, and keep, dedicated and committed workers, especially sub-contractors. Unfortunately this was no exception. Long story short I hired John - All around painting in June 2020, his painter William showed up weeks later, always late or didn’t show up at all, he did the worse paint job ever, instead of caulking small nail holes he thought it best to put electrical tape over them and then paint over the tape! When I noticed what he was doing I took the tape off and said that was not going to work! He didn’t paint in the grooves of the siding, got paint all over everything, instead of taking the house numbers down he painted over them, asked for money for gas, complained about his drive. Called John the owner to let him know what was going on and he seem not to care at all. After I complained and sent emails, and text, with pictures of the poor paint job, John sent out Wesley, they water down some left

I hired John to paint the inside of my house. On the scheduled day, Salvador showed up, did not identify himself as representing the company until I asked. He stayed about 45 minutes then said he had to go to Home Depot and didn't return. I called and texted John without response. Over the next 10 days, Salvador did not show up 4 times. I was never able to get a response from John regarding this. The work done was sloppy and unprofessional. Removed ceiling popcorn left EVERYWHERE. He did not cover my office equipment, so printer & shredder were ruined. He sprayed primer on doors and bifolds without dusting or letting me know he was going to do it, so I could dust. My mother hired this company to paint her entire house. When I came to look at it there were white spots everywhere! Some areas had only one coat. The base boards were done horribly! I don't think they used any painter's tape. All edges were sloppy and drippy. There was paint left all over floors and counters. They didn't cover anything and used the counters and furniture as there personal work space. John does not communicate unless via text and wants to charge my mom to come back and fix it! Wesley was always in a hurry to get to the next job and would just leave. They would show up unprepared and late out sometimes cancel because they had another job that day. They are dishonest and rude. Do not hire!

Extremely disappointed! Work has never been completed! It’s been several months and no return calls, text or emails. Work was proposed, agreed upon and started in February. First week of work being performed I was told by an employee of All About Painting the job was going to be additional money than what was quoted. I asked to have the owner Mr. Buckley come by and talk to me about the additional money which he never did. I was informed by the employees that this is something that happens regularly. Mr. Buckley refuses to give his workers money for the weeks work that was completed or additional supplies when needed. Very unprofessional company along with poor customer service.
