Allen's Oil & Propane

28Jan 2026 My experience was very positive with Allen's Oil & Propane. They have treated me courteously each time I called with questions (Janet, Angela, Doris just to name a few assisted me. Sorry if I missed anyone or misspelled a name). It's so refreshing to reach the ladies a "person" and not AI or an answering service. So many times you call businesses and they don't answer. Anyway Allen's Propane delivers propane to me in each time I call for a fill up. I reside in Spartan Village, Wrightstown and even the delivery driver is friendly. So, last week, my furnace was not heating up. I called for an appointment and luckily they got help to me the very next day. Yesterday (27Jan) repairman, Jack came and was training Ryan. I am a new customer to Allen’s. Been with them for about 6 months. About a month ago we noticed our heater was acting strange. We were still getting heat but there were weird noises. We have a maintenance contract with Allen’s. Bill came out and diagnosed the issue and fixed it. He was professional, kind and knew what he was doing. I am a senior and it feels so good to have a contract that the company actually does what it promises. This was not a first time they have come through for us, but this one was the latest. ordered a propane delivery. they charged my girl. told her it would be delivered Monday or Tuesday this week. Wednesday comes around still no propane delivery. called them up and ask why we we have not received our delivery. they told us they forgot to schedule us. but they didn't forever to charge us. so we asked when it would be delivered and they say it's backed up now and we will have to wait. and that's when Allen's lost another customer to the girls in the office not doing there jobs and risking people's health in winter months. if you can use any other company I suggest you do. update:: they contacted us and told us we needed the tank inspected before they would fill it (the name on tank is Allen's). they sent a tech out and he inspected it and said everything was good to go

Furnace went out. Diane was exceptionally rude over the phone. Weird to have an account assistant so exhausted of their job that they are willing to be rude to customers over the phone. She basically told me NO with an attitude of “why are you calling, how could you not know it’s busy?”. Unhelpful, Diane.. Maybe a, “sorry we can’t assist you at this time, but would look forward to your business when we are through this weather crisis.”. You know, instead of basically being disrespectful to a stranger and all but making them feel stupid for calling for help. But it’s cool, I’ll keep looking, Diane.

Everybody here has been really great since I first started, which was like three years ago. Today I had a NOT great conversation with a particular employee and I have to say Rochelle went the extra mile to fix the situation and I couldn’t be more grateful that right there is the service that I’m used to when I first started. Not the bad interaction I had on my first call this morning.
