I spotted Alley’s as I was driving down 93. I couldn’t help but notice their beautiful dark, rich mushroom compost! While I was placing my order for compost, several other customers walked in and ordered the same! It’s popular stuff and in great demand! They had all used it before and were so pleased! The owner delivered within the hour I ordered it! Such friendly service too! I was so pleased and can’t wait to see how well my garden grows this year with all these extra nutrients! Alley’s has the best compost around!

I have used mushroom compost from Alley’s trucking for the past three years to add to our heavy clay soil as we expand our garden. Each year it has proven to be magic for us. Mr. Farr has delivered to us and we have picked up in our trailer. Either way he has been professional and easy to work with. Our flowers and veggies are incredibly healthy and the nutrients feed our soil microbes and help to quickly establish life in the soil.

Very knowledgeable and helpful with figuring out how much dirt and compost I needed for my new raised beds. Reasonable prices compared to other places. And his dog, Big Money, was a bonus! We'll be going back for crushed granite to cover the walkways once the beds are filled. Always happy to support small and local businesses.
