My experience with this company in September was problematic from the start. The mover showed up 3 hours late, causing them to miss my building’s elevator reservation, which immediately threw off the schedule. What should have been a simple 1.5 bedroom apartment, full-service move turned into an 8+ hour ordeal that had to continue the next day due to poor communication, lack of coordination, and overall disorganization. And I had to take extra day off work and delayed my move out walk through and touch up with landlord due to Allied Coleman's incompetency. The delivery wasn’t much better. One of the two movers left halfway through, leaving the driver unable to move heavy items upstairs or assemble furniture until backup arrived an hour later. The mover's response: " oh they never told me

I selected this company expecting professional, transparent service consistent with a national Allied agent. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I was told in advance that the move would be attempted without a shuttle, and that any shuttle use would be discussed and approved beforehand. Instead, additional charges were applied after my belongings were already loaded and the truck had departed, with revised paperwork sent only afterward—eliminating any meaningful opportunity to approve or decline the added services. Following this, I received repeated emails and letters demanding payment for the new charges, and I was informed by management that I would need to agree to the added fees or risk non-delivery. I have since filed a formal complaint with the FMCSA regarding this matt

My mother was moving from Indiana to Texas and we made the choice to go with Allied because they had someone locally who could come by in person and give us an estimate. Trycia came thru and and gave my mom an estimate of what she would be taking with her, and she was always available to take any questions we had. And Misty, who was also available and helpful, coordinated the move, which turned out to be extremely smooth and stress free. They packed up mom's stuff with care and delivered it, along with her vehicle within a few days, and in good condition. I don't imagine it could have gone any better. Thanks for making our move as easy as possible. You're the best!

This was the worst cross-country move I've had, and I've done it 6 times. The movers didnt bother to use the item numbers to track my items, which resulted in several items and boxes not arriving. The boxes were so crushed that it looked like a large elephant had sat on them. Several of them were so crushed that they tore, and items were falling out of them. After the movers left, I found several pieces of my silverware (which had been packed in a bag in one of the boxes) in the walkway. In addition, the driver and local movers were in such a hurry to deliver 3 moves the same day that they were careless and ruined/broke some of my furniture. I found pieces of the furniture in the walkway too. The driver, who left part way through the move to head to the next delivery, told me not to bother

Professional staff pre-move to work on the details. Appreciate the opportunity to obtain gently used boxes from the warehouse. Staff was in touch throughout the move. Drivers and movers were personable and professional. Very efficient move.
