Allston Public Parking

Love this place, has a 2 hour parking limit, also the entrance is next to the exit of the liquid store parking which means you enter on the left side so stay left when entering.

Its a large parking lot for public. Highly recommend for those who seek to visit Allston. Most shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Its free on Sundays. Don't get confused for the entrance and exit. The entrance is through Blanchard liquor store. Also the lot is one way (people often get confused blocking ways in and out)

Good parking place. Poorly lit. We were able to find parking late at night with several spots open. Definitely a solid place to park. I just wouldn't feel comfortable walking back there (it's behind a building) alone at night.

It was late (11:30 PM), so I called the posted 24 hour hotline to ask if overnight parking was okay. I had had a similar situation last night elsewhere and got towed, so this time I decided to ask. The guy picking up angrily asked "What?!" I asked in a single sentence, then he yelled, "Are you out of your mind?!" And hung up. Aren't late calls with legit questions supposed to be acceptable in a 24 hour hotline? Couldn't he be just a tad bit kinder?

Very small and not very convenient parking. Suitable for quick parking in order to quickly buy something. For long term parking I would not recommend. It is poorly lit in the evening. In general, very average.
